FIVE LIBIDO BOOSTERS

1. Drink or eat watermelon.

Watermelon has an amino acid called L-citrulline, which dilates the blood vessels and sends blood to the genitals, it’s like nature’s Viagra from your kitchen.

A study published in the journal Urology has found that watermelon juice can also act as a natural treatment for erectile dysfunction.

On the plus side, it has no side effect and is delicious, plus it works for both male and female, making it a fantastic drink to share on a date night.

2. Increase your nitric oxide production.

Exercising is essential to maintaining your health and happiness. However, extreme workouts can decrease hormones levels, increase cortisol production and weaken the immune system.

So you want to exercise smartly. A Japanese researcher, Izumi Tabata, has conducted extensive research on interval training and has created a highly effective workout.

His study found that four minutes of exercise performed at extreme intensity, four times a week, can improve your anaerobic capacity by 28 percent, and your VO2 max and maximal aerobic power by 15 percent in as little as six weeks.

Now imagine exercising for 4 minutes and yet improving your endurance much more than with an extended exercise program. High intensity, short workouts, where you get to be at 75% of your heart rate will boost your libido.

Here’s what it looks like:

  • Train hard for 20 seconds.
  • Rest for 10 seconds.
  • Repeat the steps above for eight rounds.

One of my favorite workouts, created by Zach Bush MD, is a four minutes workout to boost your nitric oxide. You can watch the routine in the video below. I have been doing it daily for two years now and have seen a massive difference in my body.

3. Set the stage: create an environment for love and desire to arise.

Optimizing your bedroom and making it an attractive place for intimacy and connection is key to setting the mood. Many people bring their laptops and workloads to bed, thereby keeping their minds engaged in the stresses of day-to-day life, making it so hard to drop into their hearts and sex.

Create a setting that inspires all your senses and invites you to celebrate each other bodies. Placing attention on your environment will move energy around and will reignite the spark in the bedroom.

4. Reconnect with your pleasure.

Reconnecting with your sensual self and making your pleasure a priority will give a boost to your libido.

A pleasure list is a great place to start training yourself to channel your sexual energy, have more pleasure in your life, and find joy in giving to yourself.

List at least 7 activities that bring you great joy, and keep adding to your list as you think of more.

Take the challenge: for one week, do one activity a day. Fully immerse yourself in your pleasure and be proactive about it. Who knows, you might find that you start looking forward to it every day. And guess what, happiness is highly contagious.

5. Try the magic point in your ear for sexual desire.

If you want to crank up your libido in 60 seconds or less, try applying some pressure to this specific point in your ear. Experiment with different pressure, to find the one that feels good to you. Stroke the point, squeeze, or press to see what stimulates you.

The Point for sexual desire (the Bosch Point or the Libido Point) increases libido and enhances sexual arousal. Massaging and gently stimulating the Bosch Point on the outer ear will start creating sexual pleasure. Some find it even more effective than foreplay.

KEEP THINGS FRESH AND NEW

Try new things with your partner, and prioritize intimacy and quality time.  Sometimes just doing something different can bring a boost of energy. And it’s sometimes as simple as having a new outlook even on something old. Emphasize pleasure and remember the adage: “Where your attention goesenergy flows and results show.”

And of course, take action and apply those tips to boost your libido, get your drive back, and enjoy better sex.
